I’ve seen people (drunks) pass-out in public places before, on benches, in parks, on the sidewalks, but never on the street, where they could get run-over by passing cars. I don’t know if this girl is drunk or sick, but the fact that no one even bothers to roll her over to the sidewalk is just disgusting. Oh yeah, the guy on the bike stops and covers her up with an umbrella…wtf is that about, he couldn’t check if she was ok but he cared that she was getting wet? And she was on the damn street, she was gonna get wet anyway
This must happen very often in China, otherwise I can’t explain why they just ignore the poor girl like that.

That’s the beauty of the Asian cultures. You can pass out on the street, wake up the next afternoon and still have your wallet.
And yes, it does happen frequently.
It looks like someone called for an ambulance, so you can’t say that no one did anything. And from the first picture it looks like she was bleeding from her head, meaning that moving her could be dangerous..
I’m stationed over in Korea right now, and I know it happens pretty frequently here. Soju is the crackpipe of alcohol, for anyone wondering. Regardless, it’s just not that surprising- I know 3 or 4 different koreans who have woken up on the street in the last month. Not to say I’d do it, but it happens.

And what help did the photographer, who obviously spent 20 minutes taking pictures, do about this?
