America Loves Midget Rodeo and Bullfighting

Little people from a Mexican touring troupe put on quite a show at LA’s Pico Riviera Sports Arena.

For some reason, people love midgets. Whether it’s wrestling, circus or acting, people just can’t get enough of them. Another fine example comes from LA, where a team of height-challenged individuals mesmerized the crowd with their rodeo and bullfighting skills. Because bullfighting is illegal in America, the brave protagonists used plastic swords and hammers to taunt the horned beast.

State organizations like Little People of America, which actively fights to get midget rodeo banned, criticized the event saying it was demeaning to dwarfish stuntmen. Despite the controversy surrounding this kind of displays, they still manage to draw huge crowds that care more about being entertained that they do about midget rights.
