Professional photographer, Kyle Cassidy traveled 15.000 miles over a period of two years, taking pictures of Americans in their own homes and asking one question: “Why do you own a gun? “. To find out the answers you’ll have to read his book Armed America. I wonder if it also answers these questions: “Why do you own so many guns?” or “Why do you own that big-ass gun?”

That’s why the americans have all those shootings and killings among students. Idiots are not supposed to carry guns. That’s how the “rambo” phenomenon appeared, and any idiot and looser who doesn’t know what’s 1+1 has “the power” if he carries a gun. Excuse my english, i’m from Romania. We have a lot of idiots here too, but guns are under control. Still. Unfortunatelly, we want to be more like the USA. Why, i don’t know.

The Second Amendment of the United States Constitution’s Bill of Rights declares a well-regulated militia as “being necessary to the security of a free State” and prohibits infringement of “the right of the people to keep and bear arms.”
This amendment is what allows Americans the ability to take back control from the Government in the event that the “People” need to due to the government infringing on the wrights of the people.
The first thing Stalin did was take the guns from the people then massacred tens of millions of his own citizens.
Hitler did the same and it has occurred many other times in history.
Yes America has a crime issue and that is due to allot of sociological problems and guns do not kill without a person pulling the trigger. In America felons are not allowed to bear arms however “felons” traditionally do not follow the law.
If you are a law abiding citizen it is a “god given” right to have the ability to protect yourself and your family. American has a lot of problems however I have a permit to carry a weapon at all times and take full responsibility for the safety of myself and family. In other countries you cannot say the same!

What youre average joe should do with a AK, AR 15 or a combat shotgun I cant understand. Europe and large parts of Asia ond South America functions perfectly without an 15 heavey wepons per house. Even youre average soldier isnt armed with that kind of firepower…
