I am a pet stylist and i dyed my dog pink and blue for easter. It was done with hair coloring made for animals and is very safe. The dying of a dogs fur is for the humans pleasure. I can tell you from experience my dog enjoyed the attention she recieved from being a walking easter egg. The dye had been approved safe for animals. And as far is getting cancer from it, who can say in the end. However they seem to have a beter chance getting cancer from the most the dog food being put on the market. So people just chill out.

Lighten up, people. In most cases, it is SUGARLESS KOOLAID. Dogs have very limited color vision and do not give a rat's ass what they look like. Many of the dogs shown look relaxed and happy (and probably enjoy the extra attention). Who cares if the owners get creative? I think most of the dogs look pretty darn cute.

The dogs do not "stink" the hair dye chemicals are not like most hair dye chemicals, and there is also dog cologne available...which we use on every dog (unless the owner says otherwise)

I am a dog groomer as well and this does not hurt the animal in any way. It is completely safe, and the dye itself is actually safer then most human hair dye. It does not cause any burning sensation, like human hair dye does, and it is basically like giving them a bath in tie dye. It washes out after a while and most people i have seen come in get this done for special events, including football games, we also do lettering and

The animal is not hurt, the hair dye is safer then most hair dyes, it is non toxic and the dog, or cat, does not feel any pain...

If there were a god, he would make dogs be born in these nice pretty colours. Unfortunately we're stuck with boring old evolution (and selective breeding in the case of domestic animals).
