Fighting hippo

Up until a few weeks ago I was under the impression that hippos were peaceful animals that wouldn’t hurt a fly. I don’t know why, they just always looked like peaceful creatures to me. But after seeing some hippos attacking a crocodile and now this angry guy picking a fight with this antelope, I’ve reached the conclusion that hippos are not quiet, calm animals at all.

Hippos are the most dangerous animal in Africa and kill more humans than any other animal… I thought that was a pretty well known fact? Probably just over here I guess, lol

Dude, they’re called HIPPOs. Basic spell check, please!
Other than that: yeah, they are pretty fierce and aggressive animals. Nothing new ’bout that. (And no, I don’t live in Africa and I rarely watch Discovery Channel, but that’s a fact every kid knows.)

It’s not the most dangerous animal in Africa and its not hard to avoid them, they don’t go about stalking humans in the night. The reason that they end up killing so many people is because often the best fishing spots are right among the hippos as fish use them as protection and eat the food that they stir up, small boats and weak wooden rafts are easily overturned by the hippos when people get too close. If a large source of food was found to live on the underbellies of zebra (only while they are still alive) I bet they would become the most dangerous animal in africa.
