There are certain things I don’t put in my mouth and frogs are one of them.
Apparently these frog cocktails are very popular in the Andes because of their supposed aphrodisiac properties. Shops have tanks full of rare Telmatobius frogs and people can choose the ones they like. They are skinned and gutted alive and thrown into a blender along with other ingredients.
The police are trying to stop this practice but it is very popular with the locals.

That’s horrible…I hope someone like PETA shuts them down VERY soon !
i thought i was going to throw up at the last pic…i wasn’t expecting the frogs to be blended… i imagined something similar to a prawn cocktail…
