I know what you’re thinking, but no, this is not in North Korea and no, nobody’s forcing them to come here.

This is Ansan civilian military camp for primary and middle-school students, located about 40 km south-west of Seou, South Korea. Ansan is run by retired marines, and it is a place where children come to strengthen themselves both physically and spiritually through self-denial.

Ok, I’m down with strengthening part but aren’t some of those kids supposed to be playing with toys at their age, instead of carrying logs and used tires around?
