After reading the Lord of the Rings trilogy, over 20 times, Maddie Chambers decided to take her passion for the LOTR saga to the next level, and created a dollhouse replica of Bilbo Baggins’ Bag End.
This mother of twins took on the hobbit house project when her boys were just 1 year old. At first, she thought she’d just build a hill with a round door, like the one of Bag End, but being a perfectionist, Maddie kept thinking of things to add. First she decided to make a removable roof, then she started drawing up the project, and adding more rooms, until she put it in her mind to build a replica of the Bag End featured in the LOTR movies.
Between taking care of her two children, and keeping the house from falling apart, Maddie Chambers managed to create her hobbit house replica, in just one year. If you think that’s a long time, you must know the whole thing is hand made, from the house itself, to the dollhouse furniture, and even the tiny food. And she only worked two hours a night, and during nap times. But Maddie says she’s always been a crafty person and this was a labor of love.

Okay, I just need Rick Moranis and a shrink ray.
Also,
a gardner I will call Samwise
Not as impress as the Minas Tirith I built into the side of my mountain, but still a good job.
What is this? a Bag End for ants? How are they expected to go on a quest if they can’t even fit inside the building? *throws model on floor, smashing it*
Outstanding job! I’m very impressed by the sheer amount of time, energy, patience, desire and passion you have shown in your work. Pure respect to you!

Oh my dear goodness! This is Phenomenal!
You’re a classic example of oxygen deprivation at birth
It’s a quote from Zoolander. NOW who’s oxygen deprived?
this is out of control
Different take on the dolls house hobby, not phenominal or awesome (overused) but a good example of an obsesive, ie a hobbyist.
What do you do with it now It’s finished? Build a better one? Bigger?
It’s still just you.
All that work to the outside and the inside is all wrong. Hmmm, I don’t get it.
Wow, the detail is just amazing. Wonder how long it took.

That is absolutely incredible! I want one for my kids! I read the Trilogy when I was in 4th grade and have loved it ever since!
Those who can DO (and you did wonderfully), and those who can’t make creepy, useless comments. Job well done! >^..^<
With reborn dolls, the effect is amplified because it is not just eyes, but touch, that is engaged when you hold or rock a reborn ‘baby’. Custom Berengeur, Ashton Drake, or Edward Middleton babies grab the attention of celebrities also as the general public. Finally, reborn babies appear to be well-loved by nostalgic and grieving parents and grandparents.
UAU!!!it`s just wonderfull
