Looks like a concentration camp for seals.
Welcome to Arkhangelsk seal butchering camp in Russia, it’s a “wonderful” place, you have to visit sometimes. This a great place to wack helpless white seals on the head until they die, then tear the fur off them and ship it out to countries like Italy, who imports about 200,000 furs every year. This particular camp is where all the seal cubs are brought, fatten for a month or so and then brutally killed by heartless men, who do it for about 2-3 thousand a season (two weeks). I mean you have to have a stone as a heart to kill a seal, but how cruel can you be to kill seal cubs?
Anyway take a look at these photos each time you get the urge to buy something made of genuine fur and DON’T DO IT!!!

Oh my god, I am actually bawling my eyes out looking at these, the poor things don’t have a clue what’s going on while these heartless bastards harvest them for money. It makes me sick

I feel for the seals, poor things. They really look so cute. But look, do you think that cows are faring much better? Just because they have soft white fur and big round eyes… Demand and supply, baby.

To be fair though, cows are kept in relatively humane conditions and are slaughtered quickly so they don’t feel a thing. These creatures are beaten to death with clubs just so some woman can feel good wearing another mammal’s skin.

People have been eating cows for centuries now. Does it really matter how they die? Ultimately, we slaughter animals. As long as it is sustainable, i’m ok with it. Just as long as there are measures to make sure the population doesn’t decline or get too out of hand. I mean, you wouldn’t want the seals to go extinct, but I doubt you’d like it very much if we protected them to the point when you couldn’t walk anywhere without stepping on a baby seal.

So what! how many cows are killed every day.Most people are against the seal hunt because there cute. So give them a break, seals are not endangered I don’t know about Russia but in Canada they are over 5 million seals on the ice flows in the Gulf of Saint Lawrence.And they hand out yearly quotas based on scientific data. Next thing is that the people that participate in the hunt are not evil they come from small communities witch have very little income and the hunt is very important for them. Financially each hunter make about 10000 during the hole hunt down from 20000 before people start getting angry about killing cute animals. Yes it does look brutal thats because it’s in the open on snow and ice, imagine thousands of cows being slaughtered on ice and snow it would not be pretty. But because most animals are slaughtered behind doors where nobody can see it it’s ok. finally the there more to seals then a fur coat, its called seal flipper pie and boy is it good. I really wised that people would turn to a cause with more importance.
