You might not find not find anything odd about these women, but I for one think they look grotesque.
It’s no secret that women find guys with muscles very attractive, but for some reason, it doesn’t work the other way around. I guess some women just don’t understand that while most bodybuilders look more manly, female bodybuilders DON’T look more feminine! I’m actually jealous, some of these “girls” look manlier than me…and that’s not a compliment ladies!

This training creates special confidence in women. The ability to move and control large, heavy material objects becomes second nature and never to be intimidated by large men is a high. Hand in hand, it both encourages and is complimented by the self confidant image. An aura of respect from all those around her, a message of, “listen to me, this is how we will do it”.
I do agree with you, these women are not physically attractive, and Joel is right about the control issues. What you’re looking at is women who are die hard training for competition. I saw a documentary and understand the physical aspects of their appearance. It’s not that they are so muscular (which obviously they are) as that they have NO body fat. And before a competition they eat a bunch of sugary foods to make the veins pop out like that. Smiles aside, they are actually feeling very ill during these events.
I wonder though if you would take a look at some Boris Vallejo paintings. He was married to a bodybuilder and his wife was his ‘muse’. He also did most of Molly Hatchet album covers. You can see the bulk of his work here… http://vallejo.ural.net/2000/
Although these women are more muscled, they still retain their femininity. I do hope you check them out and enjoy them.

These pictures show the women at their performance best. In every day life they don’t appear so cut.
I dated a female bodybuilder for ~6 months. She wasn’t a pro, but I really enjoyed watching her work out. Seeing her muscles pop made me pop. She was ALL WOMAN.
