I can’t say I’m a fan of flying, to be honest I’m terrified of airplanes but if I simply have to get on an airplane, I’d prefer it to be a decent-looking one. And that definitely excludes anyone of these odd-looking flying machines. Sure some of them are designed this way to facilitate merchandise transport, but this does not make them any prettier.

Nice post. Great planes!
I disagree with the second one, the XB-70 Valkyrie… Mach 3 with 6 engines, how can that be bad in any way?!

It looks kinda like Concorde with bombs, and faster.
The XB-70 Valkyrie is ugly? ..WTF over? Its one of the sexiest Aircraft ever produced….
THANKS. NICE PICS.
Copilot is 100% correct; the North American XB-70 Valkyrie is one of the most beautiful and functionally perfect aircraft ever built!
Too bad that mass murdering Navy hating SecDef McNamara tried to kill it, the flat fielders would’ve had a helluva good aircraft.
That Warsaw Pact jet propelled biplane looks obviously evil!
And so does the RAF Nimrod with that aerodynamically worthless
nose radome…what were they thinking?
The RAF Victor bomber (last plane) was a better aircraft than the Arvo Vulcan: more range, speed, bombload, service ceiling, fewer crew and less fuel used and easier to fly!
