Toy Traveling, a new travel agency in the Czech Republic, has come up with an original plan to keep afloat in times of economical crisis. The owners of this unique company were inspired by the 2001 French hit movie, Amelie. Basically they offer people the chance to send their favorite toys on a memorable journey through Prague.

Your stuffed animal will get to see memorable sights like Prague Casle or Charles Bridge, and get his picture taken at all the major landmarks in the city. This is just the basic package, if you want your toy to really have a good time, you can pay extra for a massage, aromatherapy and even a picnic.

Prices start at 90 euro and go all the way to 150 euro, with all the extra services. It’s not cheap, but your plush toy will love you for it.

The first time I laid eyes on Maciej Drwiega’s LEGO trucks, I thought they were life-size, that’s how real they look. Of course the photo angle helped a lot, too.

Maciej Drwiega (let’s see you pronounce that) is a big LEGO fan who likes to build replicas of trucks, using the popular bricks. His 1:13 scale creations look as good as the real vehicles and even have detailed interiors and detachable hoods that reveal the engine. How cool is that? I wonder how long it takes the Polish LEGO master to build one of these babies.

If you think of yourself as a real-life superhero than you need to have an action-figure. Thanks to doll-crafting artist Cyndi Safstrom, now you can.

Cyndi at Be-a-Doll.com offers anyone the chance to own an action-figure of themselves, for just $180 plus shipping fees. All you need to do is send out two photos, one taken from the front and a profile shot, then wait 2-3 weeks for your doll to arrive.

The artist sculpts the head onto a vinyl doll and dresses it according to your desires. Some clients like to have the dolls outfitted just like them, while others prefer to be wear superhero clothes. Anyway you dress it, the doll will be unique, just like you.

If your favorite doll suffered serious damaged that you can’t fix yourself, jump on a plane to Lisbon and take it to the Doll Hospital. They’ll fix it right up.

Located in Figueira Square, Lisbon, the Doll Hospital has been “treating” dolls since 1830 and it’s not going to go out of business anytime soon. Equipped with an emergency and operating rooms, this bizarre establishment has experienced doll doctors and a wide range of spare parts, in case you’re doll needs something replaced.

If people ever stop having their dolls repaired, the Doll Hospital of Lisbon will donate its entire collection of abandoned dolls and spare parts to a local museum. I’m sure they’d fit better on The Island of the Dolls, but…

Using Polymer Clay, Colleen from Loopy Boopy creates some of the creepiest dolls I’ve ever seen. her creations do have human figures, but they give you a creepy feeling, sort of like the characters Tim Burton puts on screen.

Loopy Boopy dolls are a bit too creepy for my own taste, but if you’re into this kind of stuff, you can check Colleen’s store on Etsy and buy yourself something creepy for Halloween.

With Halloween not so far away, it’s time to think about this year’s horrible pranks and this hacked-up human body may be just what you need.

Made-of durable latex, the axed male body from Fright Catalog will scare the hell out of anyone who lays eyes on it. Hacked up into bloody bits and pieces, the hacked-up body also features a lot of disgusting guts, to add to the horror effect.

All the items are hand made, but some of the clients complained the models aren’t as detailed as they could be. Still, I’d buy one of these just to see my friends faces when they see me “hacking it up” in the bathtub.

I know of Disney’s acquisition of Marvel, but I had no idea they also had their eye on Hasbro, owner of the Transformers franchise.

Meet the adorable Donald Duck, like you’ve never seen him before. Takara Tomy, a famous Japanese toy manufacturer has decided to give the popular Disney character a radical makeover and turned him into a Transformer. Donald now turns from a skateboarder into a buggy-driving duck in seconds and might just steal Bumblebee’s part in the new Transformers movie.

With the world going crazy over the Transformers and the Gundam statue of Tokyo, people have forgotten all about nice old Thomas the Tank. But someone found a way to make him popular again by turning him into some sort of Transformer train.

This weird little toy has been auctioned on eBay by a person from Singapore, for a price of S$10. That’s 10 Singapore dollars, which translates to around 6 dollars US. The package is made up of three different color Thomas trains that come together to form the ultimate Trainsformer.

What do you do when your kids leave you with entire boxes of old toys they don’t like anymore? Well, you can donate them, throw them away or, do something creative with them.

Robert Bradford, a part-time psychotherapist from Cornwall, UK, opted for the third option when his two kids left him with a bunch of discarded toys. Luckily, one day, while he was staring at them, he came up with the wonderful idea of using them to create artistic sculptures.

His first artwork was an Alsatian dog that he doesn’t much like these days. But this was the experiment that started his career as an artist. That was four years ago. Since then, Robert Bradford has used thousands of toys to make truly incredible toy sculptures, like the soldier and angel you see in the photos below.

The artist uses up to 3,000 used toys for each of his toy sculptures and sells them for prices that go as high as 12,000 British pounds. That’s pretty expensive, but hey, it’s art, right?
