I took a different tack: For what they put into the bus, I bought 28 acres, and then for $12K I bought a used mobile home. I have a much more comfy and spacious place in which to live- my land has tripled in value in the 15 years I’ve been here, and i livie like a king on under $20K a year. (I work at home- make fifty bucks an hour, but only work a few hours a week)- It’s paradise! (I came here from an area where a crappy starter house with a tiny yard goes for $400K with $10K a year property taxes! And that was TOTALLY unacceptable to me- I’d never live like that- haing to slave away just to pay taxes and a mortgage)
