I reserve judgement until I see the film. Although I don’t agree with the method, it does sound like he did it out of love and wanting to protect the children. Which is what every parent wants. Don’t forget that the mother did nothingbto stop this from happening either. So you can’t be hard on the dad but not her.

Showing the kids “Reservoir Dogs” was corrupting enough, they didn’t need to go out into the world which would seem safe after that, great, but violent film.
