He wanted to make the Holy Book more accessible ……to emphasize the depth of characters? Really? ….While taking away, indeed, DEFACING the central Character of the entire book which he wants to re-make into a novel? This guy isn’t playing with a full deck of cards…..

True, you’ll also probably burn in hell, Timmy. So why bother? Read an original. Wait! There is none. As Issac kindly pointed out it was rewritten millions of time, not to mention particular subjects (as reincarnation) were simply cut from early builds. So… What’s my point? Ahh, just pressing your buttons you uneducated christian believer. 🙂

Isaac, Tim is a believer who is citing scripture. Do you expect him to say otherwise? I doubt he’s interested in your food for thought, the opinion of a non-believer and a stranger at that.
I would be interested in knowing if the French author will replicate this effort for other religious texts. The illustrator’s work is compelling.

Being a… oh, what was it Tim above me said… ah! Yes, an “Antichrist”, I have to say this particularly idea sparked my interest. I’ve always perceived the Bible the same way I perceive the fables of old:

A creative, engaging way to instill a lesson or message upon a person. “The Boy Who Cried Wolf”, “Little Red Riding Hood”, stories of that sort that paint a colorful tale of fiction while beseeching a greater lesson upon the reader.

So to see one take the Bible and present it, intentionally, in this fashion, is somewhat intriguing.

Also, food for thought, Timmy, but “The Word of the Most High” has been subject to several edits over the years by the very ones who preach it’s message. Something to consider before playing the ol’ “Absolute” card.

Neither take from, nor add to, the words of the Most High.
These individuals are antichrists; a small reflection of the almost universal human desire to denigrate and undermine those words of our great Creator, which shall never pass away.
I have the strong impression that this exercise in blasphemy and futility will be funded by those very individuals who most hate the Name which is above every name; the synagogue of satan.
