Eventually they all were trained anough to love to get a computer implant and became slaves like worker bees for the bankers living far far away. At last the vilagers were replaced by robots and sent away from their original paradise to live in the slums of Bombay again, where they die of malnutrition and cancer from the GMOs and bad life style.
The vilage? It became a resort for the One Percent to spent their time to plot more control over other places on Earth, whiling away their miserable souls and lives away in occult entertainment and child abuse never bothered by law enforcement. Then the Day of the Lord came and sent them all to Hell, and Paradise was restored and regained. Thank God!
