I would object to this and I think any free person would also object – the fact that they do not is worrying. What I think is that the road to hell is paved with good intentions, as my grandmother used to say. The mother may say she wants only good ofr her family but a “good” child can be one who fears to admit to any weakness or fault. I also think that frequently hypnotised individuals may be more susceptible to this type of control from other people. I think it’s a misuse of hypnotherapy and an abuse of power.
