Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it!

I know this is Odditycentral, it’s the same blog I started almost eight years ago. Unfortunately, I am not a writer, and I’ve never claimed to be one. I’m just a guy sharing the weird/amazing/heartwarming stories I find during my daily websurfing sessions, the best way I can. I wish I could say I can do better, but I don’t want to get your hopes up 🙂

Sumitra, my hardworking colleague who usually does the writing, isn’t feeling well, so I’m covering for her for a few days. Hopefully, she’ll be back next week, maybe you’ll like her style a bit better.

Unfortunately, the reporter did not do the story justice. I thought the writing was very dry and uninteresting. Your first sentence was conveying your own opinion rather than remaining objective. I felt like you were attacking the reader. I’m not a very good writer, but I know when I read something that is well written. This was not.
