Since it’s solar powered, it needs sunshine to work but if you need a coat outside, it’s probably night time or too cold and cloudy to charge anything up.

Would have been more logical to make this into a vest so the user would stay cool while being in the hot sun.

Still would be much cheaper to just buy a cheap coat and then picking up battery charger.
