My grandfather's house backed onto a golf course in the 70's (he had it built that way because he loved to play golf) and he made quite a bit every month from balls hit into his yard. He sold them back as duffer balls to golfers going around the course. He also got the windows on the back side of the house broken a few times from poorly hit balls so it paid for those too! His favorite trick to keep people out of his unfenced yard was to have a sign up about Killer Bees, something which was a big topic back then. He and my grandmother had to run people out of their garden fairly often who tried to play their balls from there instead of taking the penalty. I don't think he could get away with it today the way people behave anymore. I don't think he made as much as this guy though, but we kids used to get all the change for our birthdays.

Entertaining and quite comical! This man is known as a habitual liar. We will have to share this article with the IRS. I am sure they will be interested in wondering why these monies were not claimed on his taxes.
