Ahlam Tamimi, one particularly illustrious family member, organized the Sbarro Pizza suicide bombing in 2001. Bassem Tamimi, the family patriarch, is famous for using all his extended family members, but especially his children. as media props. His daughter, Ahad, became so famous for her antics of spitting, screaming at, biting, kicking and otherwise trying to provoke Israeli soldiers that she was dubbed “Shirley Temper” by the worldwide press. “Janna Jihad” is just one more offspring being exploited for the same purpose.
