This was when The Mask of Zorro was released in Philippine cinemas. He was donning the costume while walking along Lt. J. Francisco St. (Krus na Ligas, QC), where his family resides, reciting the results and updates of the senatorial elections, “Legarda – 14,933,965. Cayetano – 13,177,584. Etc.”
Prior to this, he was fond of wearing jerseys, jogging alongside Father Robert Reyes of the Church of the Risen Lord.
