He's a FRAUD.

He was at the most 30km from Tan Tan as the map on his website shows. This is a semi-arid region and NOT the Sahara.

Last year I had a hole in my sump near Ouarzazare (in the same semi arid region) and I walked 18km to get a mobile signal. He could have covered the 30km to Tan Tan in an easy 8-10 hour stroll. If it was midsummer he could have done this at night time following the north star (Polaris). Alternatively he could have followed his vehicle tracks back to the Gendarmerie Royal checkpoint.

Djoseph you ignorant fool. The article clearly says tens of kilometers. Anything way longer than 10 km. Even it was 10 km in the desert, you think he could have lasted that long, carrying 10 days worth of sustenance in the scorching heat?

He had food and water for ten days, but thought that ten kilometers was too far to walk? Either there's a mistake in this article or this guy did it just to see if he could do it. You'd walk ten kilometers in two hours, desert or no desert.
