Honestly I am from rural NZ and went to rural school I have been to pig hunting comps my team came in second at a possum hunt killing 240 possums over 2 days I ahve done eeling comps and have family that hunt eatten bush meat and all that. Now did it effect me? Lets see I have a managery of animals I love animals to bits mine are all very well looked after I have a diploma in Vet nursing I work as a full time vet nurse looking after sick and injured animals I suport green peace and whisper and the SPCA I spend a lot of time educating people in the treatment of animals… I would still shoot a possum but we dont have any on our property shoot rabbits (and own pet rabbits) support pig hunting (own pet bigs as well and love them to pits) and goats and deer. So did it effect me? No. My sister? No. The kids I went to school with? No. As long as the pussoms were killed humanly which they would have been there is nothing wrong. Now if they were being horible to them thats a diffrent sotry but dress up? Like a doll? How is that being mean? Got a problem about dressing up dead animals what do you think about all the people who dress up their poor little dogs in stupid outfits every day? POny club dress up days putting skirts and wings and horns on your horses? These are ok but dressing up a dead animal which is non the wiser is not? Im confused….
