If you need to constantly wipe the tip of it with a wipe then why not just keep the extra wipes with you instead?

If a person uses this and doesn’t wipe off immediately, wouldn’t they make things worse, germ-wise, when they reinsert it back into their pocket or purse?

I can’t see how this could be of any use while grocery shopping.
