I have been to Caboodle twice and have found it to be a terrific place for cats. There is plenty of food, water and shelter. Cats are not dying at an alarming rate. I spent 4 days there in March, this year, with a lady from Germany, and we were both so happy with the condition of the Ranch. Craig works 12 or more hours/day and has full-time help. I was happy to meet the vet who came one day to check on the "herd." Some cats have runny noses, much like you'd see in kindergarten. Sicker cats are in the new infirmary, which doesn't allow well cats. There is no way to tell, from the negative videos shown on Save the Kitties, if the photos were taken at Caboodle. Also, without any context, you don't know if the cats just arrived in poor condition (many are rescues), were on the way to the vet (I've seen very large vet bills), just got back from the vet, were medicated and allowed out for fresh air. It's not possible to make a judgment based on the video. Cats who are deemed to be terminally ill by the vet, are sent to Craig, who will treat them and keep them comfortable. They do NOT die slow, agonizing deaths. Bunker was sent back to the Ranch by the vet to die of liver disease. Craig asked me to help encourage Bunker to eat. While Craig gave him fluids every day, I spent much of my 4 days holding and comforting Bunker and getting him to eat, little by little. When I left Caboodle, he was eating on his own and now is healthy. He would have been euthanized in a shelter. Caboodle Ranch is a work in progress. It has a wonderful foundation with property, housing, and staff people who are engaged in saving animals. I know the last 2 reports by the vet and AC were positive. Can it still be improved? Of course, but the facility is worth fighting for. It has improved continuously since its inception. It's a pleasure to see so many happy, healthy cats UNCAGED, since most of them would have been killed or caged. This is a much happier life for them.

Caboodle Ranch is not the heaven that is described on their website. It's CAT HELL.

Don’t be fooled by the cute little houses and videos. The internet Caboodle Ranch is nothing like the real world Caboodle Ranch. Numerous witnesses have reported seeing the majority of cats sickened with illnesses, diseases, injuries, and parasite infestations. The living facilities are filthy and smell retched. Cats are left to lie in their in their own vomit and feces. Cats don’t receive proper medical attention. Craig “plays doctor” by diagnosing the cats himself and personally gives them medication and patches them up based on his “expert” knowledge. Cats are only taken to the vet as a last resort. Usually by this time the cats are too far gone. Instead of ending the suffering by humanely putting the cat to sleep, he elects to allow the cat to die a slow, painful death. Craig Grant, the operator, fits the classic signs of a hoarder.

It’s estimated that Caboodle Ranch has taken in thousands of cats since its inception. However, recent visitors have reported seeing about 100 or less cats roaming the grounds. Cats are dying at alarming rates. Several people have taken cats there and changed their minds and went to retrieve them in as little as 24 hours to find that the cat(s) was/were nowhere to be found. Major killers of the cats are coyote attacks, upper respiratory infections, Felv/FIV, being hit by cars, and shot and poisoned by neighbors.

Go to www.facebook.com/caboodleranch.savethekitties (no account required) if you would like concrete evidence of animal neglect and abuse at Caboodle Ranch. You will find eye witness testimonies and reports from officials and experts under the discussion tab. There are also photos and videos but be forewarned that they may be disturbing to some.
