I suffer from it but not to this extent. At least I can maintain a grasp on reality by knowing that what I think is wrong. Its a weird disorder because you always look the same in the mirror no matter what. I went from being 170lbs(skinny for me), to 310lbs. (super fat), down to 200lbs (muscular) and through the entire 7 year roller coaster of weight gain and loss I never saw a difference in my body in the mirror. The only way i could tell is by looking at photographs. And no, I didnt get surgery. I lost it the good ol’ fashioned way by dieting and exercising. Praise be to Jenny Craig.
