Once every two years, the Grand Place, a central market in Brussles, Belgium becomes one of the largest flower gardens in the world. This year people could admire a beautiful flower carpet between the 14th and 17th of August, for those of you that missed it, there’s always two years from now.
The flower carpet of Grand Place has a different model every time and it’s made out of roughly 700,000 begonias. This is definitely one of the must see- attractions of Brussels.
I always knew being a professional athlete meant making serious sacrifices and that gymnasts don’t really have a childhood, but this like modern day torture to me. It’s nice to compete and win a title for your country but I have to wonder if it’s worth going through all this… As a parent I couldn’t let my kids go through anything like this, no matter how much I wanted them to be successful in sports, it’s just too much.
This is Aziz, one of the most popular singers in Bulgaria. He’s a regular superstar there and even represented his country at the Eurovision song contest in 2006. Built back in the 10th century, the incredible well of Chand Baori, India was a practical solution to the water problem in the area. The arid climate forced the locals to dig deep for a dependable water source, one that would last throughout an entire year. Chand Baori well is 30 meters deep, it has 13 floors and 3,500 steps. Legends say that ghosts build it in one night and that it has so many steps to make it impossible for someone to retrieve a coin once it’s been dropped in the well.

The man in the photos is very passionate about wine so he decided to create a costume that could show his love for delicious drink. So he just collected enough bottle corks and bound them together to create this tuxedo. Looks good on him, doesn’t it?

It’s not every day that you come face to face with one of the most infamous alien contraptions ever. Actually you could walk past one if you live in Woking, the home town of H.G. Wells, where a Tripod sculpture rules over the town square.
This amazing 23-feet-high Tripod was built by Michael Condron in 1998 to celebrate the centenary of “War of the Worlds” together with the first alien capsule to hit Earth, half buried into the ground. As you can see the design of the Tripod is simply amazing, it looks like it’s about to wake up and starting zapping people.
One of the most luxurious cruise liners ever built, the Celebrity Solstice is also the largest luxury cruise ship to hit the water. It offers its passengers 11 decks to explore on which they can find anything their hearts desire. the Celebrity Solstice is without exaggeration a floating city.
