For most of the Christian world, December 25th is a joyous time of celebration, but according to one Ghanian self-proclaimed prophet, this year, that date signals the beginning of a three-year flood that will cover the Earth in an endless ocean. The only way to survive is to board one of the wooden arks he was chosen to build by God Himself.

Ebo Noah, known online by many other names, including Ebo Jesus and Igbo Noah, is a controversial and mysterious figure who claims to have been chosen by God to retake Noah’s mantle and once again save humanity and all the other animal species from a biblical flood set to start this Christmas.

No one really knows very much about this modern-day Noah, including basic information such as his real name and location, but he has gained quite a following on social media. Clips of him wearing ragged clothing and reading from a book, or inspecting his wooden arks, have been doing the rounds online for months, but people’s interest is growing as Christmas draws near.

The Ghanian Noah has been preaching about an upcoming biblical flood since August, claiming that he has been instructed by God to build up to ten arks. According to some sources, his arks can hold a few thousand people, while some say that they can accommodate up to 600 million people, which sounds a tad exaggerated.

As you can imagine, Ebo Noah, has been facing quite a bit of ridicule on social media, including from people asking him if his arks have Wi-Fi, or if passengers can use the Cash App on it, but he seems to be taking it all rather well, saying that Noah himself was laughed at, which didn’t deter him from his mission.

At one point, Noah claimed that animals like goats and birds had begun arriving “by divine instruction” at the site where he was building the arks, although no one has confirmed these claims. The arks themselves look like nothing more than wooden boats barely able to house a few dozen people, let alone hundreds of millions, as well as animals.

Ebo Noah has hundreds of thousands of followers on social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram, but some people have brought into question his mere existence. No mainstream Ghanian outlet has been able to find him, and even the location of the arks is unclear. Some believe he is the product of AI, although the videos depicting him look very realistic.

With no way to confirm Ebo Noah’s identity or his preachings, all we can really do is wait for the first day of Christmas.
