Woman Uses Large Billboard to Contact Man Who Got Her Pregnant Then Blocked Her on Facebook

A woman from San Luis Potosí, Mexico came up with an ingenious way of notifying the man who allegedly got her pregnant and then cut off all contact, even blocking her on Facebook, that her pregnancy test came out positive.

Photos of a bizarre advertising billboard on top of a building between Mariano Jiménez Street and Salvador Nava Avenue, in San Luis Polosi, have been doing the rounds on social media over the last couple of weeks. It features the photo of a man in a cowboy hat, along with his full name and a very personal message from the woman who rented it – she’s pregnant and this was apparently the only way to let him know, as he had blocked both her phone number and her Facebook account.

You Have to Be a Practicing Christian to Own a Home in This Idyllic Michigan Town

Bay View, a small upscale community in Michigan’s Lower Peninsula, just outside of Petoskey, has been making headlines due to a lawsuit against its unusual ownership laws, which prohibit non-Christian from buying or even inheriting a home there.

What started out as a modest camping ground for Methodist families, over 140 years ago, has blossomed into one of the most beautiful resort communities in the United States. Bay View was named one of the 12 “Prettiest Painted Places” in the U.S., for its 444 Victorian-era cottages, fondly called ‘gingerbread houses’, and it is often referred to as a summer vacation paradise. However, it’s not a paradise open to all, at least not if you actually want to own property here, as according to a law dating back to the 1940s only practicing Christians are allowed to buy houses, or even inherit them.

When you think of Mace pepper spray, ‘awesome beer flavor’ is probably not the first thing that comes into your head, but that’s exactly why the adventurous people at Dog Head Brewery decided to create the world’s first mace-flavored beer.

Dogfish Head Brewery is known for sometimes using weird ingredients – from pork scraps to dust from lunar meteorites – to create unique brews, so this collaboration with Mace Security International to create a mouth-numbing beer is not that unusual. Called “In Your Mace!”, the limited edition drink is partially brewed with oleoresin capsicum, the active ingredient in Mace’s pepper spray.

Gas Station Toilet Makes You Feel Like a King While You’re Using It

Let’s be honest, finding clean and decent-smelling gas station toilets is hard enough, but one that makes you feel like royalty? Normally, I would say such a place doesn’t exist, but I recently saw these photos of a unique toilet in Quezon, the Philippines.

To be honest, I kind of already knew that gas station toilets in the Philippines can be quite different than what most of us are used, after writing about this Shell Gas Station toilet in Tagbilaran City, Bohol, which featured wood furniture, a bookshelf and even a phone next to the toilet bowl. But I didn’t know the island nation actually had a public toilet fit for a king until seeing some photos of a Petron gas station toilet in Quezon.

Brazilian Drug Dealer Kidnaps Medical Staff, Makes Them Vaccinate Community Against Yellow Fever

Thomaz Vieira Gomes, also known as 2N, is considered one of the most dangerous criminals in Rio de Janeiro, but recently he actually did something decent, albeit still illegal, for once. He and his gang kidnapped two male nurses and made them vaccinate the poor people of his favela against yellow fever.

For months, Brazil has been dealing with a yellow fever epidemic that has already left dozens dead. Despite the Health Ministry’s plans to vaccinate millions of people in the hopes of containing the outbreak, immunization centers struggle to keep up with the high number of patients, and, as always, the poorest communities are usually ignored. That was apparently the case of Salgueiro, one of the poorest regions of Rio de Janeiro, and the headquarters of 2N’s drug dealing operations. So he decided to speed up the process by using a very familiar technique, kidnapping.

Bizarre Toy Lets Users Experience the Sensation of Popping a Huge Pimple

If you love watching those stomach-churning pimple popping videos on YouTube and wish you could squeeze massive amounts of puss yourself, you’ll probably fall in love with Pop It Pal, a squishy toy that recreates the sensation of popping huge zits.

2017 was the year of the fidget spinner, but 2018 might just turn out to be the year of the Pop It Pal, a piece of fake “flesh” filled with disgusting-looking goo that allows users to pop fake pimples to their heart’s content. The Pop It Pal features 15 fake zits that you can squeeze to experience the (apparently) satisfying feeling of seeing fake puss ooze out. And it gets “better” – every Pop It Pal kit comes with a bottle of fake puss which you can use to refill the silicone toy, so you can keep popping for as long as you like.

They both had jobs they didn’t really enjoy and felt that there had to be more to life than constantly being involved in a rat race. They started saving money, he Ubered on the side, and last year they took the plunge. The couple quit their jobs, sold everything they owned and bought a 49-year-old sailboat in Alabama. Japanese Public School Sparks Controversy After Adopting $700 Dollars Armani Uniforms

Ginza is known as the most fashionable district of Japan’s capital, Tokyo, and one public elementary school located there recently decided that it would be very fitting for children to dress accordingly. Thus Taimei Elementary School students will be donning $700 designer uniforms created by Italian fashion label Armani.

The school’s decision to replace its old uniforms without even consulting the parents has sparked outrage all over Japan, and was even discussed in Japan’s Parliament last week, with one opposition lawmaker noting that the 80,000 yen ($700) school uniforms were more expensive than most business suits. In a country where school tuition fees are already a heavy burden for most parents, Taimei’s decision to introduce luxury uniforms that cost almost three times as the old ones has been branded as unnecessary and elitist.
