As a black mother, having three albino children out of five can’t seem normal.
But it can happen, and Rosmere Fernandes de Andrade and her partner Joao, two black Brazilian parents are proof. Esthefany Caroline, Ruth Caroline and Kauan are as white as snow while their two other siblings have dark skin, just like their parents.
Scientists say this is very unusual, especially since both the parents and some of the children are black. But it’s all just a game of luck, since if both the parents carry the albinism gene, there is a 1 in four chance their offspring will be an albino.
You can imagine it’s not easy for them to adjust in a society where they look completely different from everyone else and they say they constantly get taunted by kids, at school. Their parents are also faced with the task of buying expensive sunblock and extra clothes, to prevent them from getting skin cancer.

I do believe it can happen but i highly doubt that those kids in those pictures are their actual children, they dont have any of the same traits, the hair, the facial features, nothing.
Those kids are fair skinned blondes, not albino. If they were albino their hair would be white and their eyes pink. The boy at the bottom seems to have blue eyes.

SORRY BUT YOU’RE WRONG, this is not fake! This family is REAL, they live in north of Brasil, or like you say “Brazil”. Search for : “Rosmere Fernandes de Andrade, três filhos albinos” in google, and you will see portuguese results. This was noticed in a local television, and after in a big channel here in Brasil. They live in very basic conditions, the local community helps the family. They receive sunblock donation from a local hospital, because the appropriate sunblock for this kind of skin is so expensive for the family conditions. ARGHHHHH I can tell that the people who wrote this article have a very Eurocentric and western view of the world. As a Black American who comes from a family with several albinos why is it weird. I don’t believe that any scientist, “REAL” scientist would ever say this was amazing or astonishing. So the article is a fail…. Albinism is a genetic mutation or a gene carried by both parents, not a race there are many black albinos. As far as the idiots that are talking about the texture of the children’s hair hundreds of years of slavery (lots of slave women were raped and their were a few interracial relationships, DUH) saw to it that people of african descent in the Americas come in different hair textures and colors. Did you even read the correct article? This story is about three albino children NOT two Caucasian kids. I’m not sure why everyone is so racist but I’m happy to hear that the family is receiving the resources they need for their beautiful children!
This is not fake, this family exists. They live in Brazil and have been the subject of a report by local television news. Unfortunately the mother is poor and can not provide the necessary care to children with albinism. This is a fact, not a lie.
