Frankly I can’t imagine how hard it must be for this fella to keep his head up with these things.
This is Lurch, the proud bearer of the world’s largest horns. Lurch is a Watusi bull living in an Animal shelter, whose horns measure 92.25 cm and weigh more than 100 pounds each. He’s quite the attraction in his home state and he’s favorite pass-time is acting as bodyguard for a crippled horse that’s being harassed by fellow horses. He looks amazing doesn’t he?

Now, lets get one thing straight, why do you people assume that something of the unnatural has to be photoshop. This is a normal cow of his breed. I think it about time for the people that are claiming this is photoshop to stop being on the computer more than their lives. I sugest to go out, smell the fresh air and while your at it you pimple popping pansies, go to the library and do some research.

This is in mountain home, ar. They are not photoshopped…it is free to go visit Lurch however please make a little donation to the owner so she can keep some of the expenses under control. There are zebra’s and other animals there as well.

If you look at the pictures the horns are in fact all at the same angle. The first one merely looks like it is different because the shot was taken from below with the bull looking down a little. All the other shots are from straight on or above so the angle of the horns looks different. Furthermore there are in fact shadows in the first picture. Why do you think it is so much darker from right about 1/4″ above the shoulder blade then back along the length of its body. Before anyone says it I am not talking about the white.
okay the pictures are NOT photoshopped.. the horns are real.. my response is to the person who stated that the horns serve no purpose to the animal.. actually the horns act as an inside air conditioner to the animal. On hot days, the horns fill with blood to make the body temperature on the animal drop, and when the animal has cooled down, the blood will then go back into the body.

I met Lurch & Janice. And it’s not fake. Look at the lurch and the herd website and see for yourself that Ellen DeGeneres featured the Rocky Ridge Refuge TWO times on the show.
If I didn’t see if myself, I would’ve screamed photoshop too. But now, I believe! I did not ride lurch nor did my kids. He was being shy, it was a hot day and many of the animals didn’t want to come down the hill to the dirt road. I was amazed at how all the different animals got along! My six year old though Lurch looked sad b/c he had no friends “his size”. then she saw the water buffalo and realized he did have a big bud.
Call the Mountain Home AR chamber of Commerce. They will confirm for you. Or watch the Ellen clip. It’s amazing to say the least!!!
Also wanted to add that he is in Gassville, not Mountain Home. But the towns are very close to each other and both in Baxter County. I met him two weeks ago while visiting my in-laws.

I have an entire portfolio of photoshop work. I also have a degree in video and audio production. I could photoshop a picture similar to this but not so mant times to scale in succession. Besides, I watched the video that B-Dog posted back in June. Watch it, Google Ellen and Lurch for the YouTube Video, or pick up a Guiness and look for him. He’s real.
My Dad has been following Lurches Story from the very beginning. This is one fascinating animal. And yes he is real!!! I would love to see him.

This is real. Janice Wolf has Lurch and other amazing animals at her place. They are all very cared for. I completely enjoyed meeting Lurch and the others.

I just saw a blub on the local news here in Arkansas. The bull has cancer at the base of one of the horns and is going to die. The bull is 14 years old.
Definately real. I live in Lakeview, AR, which is very near to where he is. Have taken many people to visit him. I heard a rumor he has cancer. I hope it’s not true. I do know he hasn’t been out in the field for a long time.
The photos are real. You can also find Lurch in the Guiness Book of World Records. My neighbor is in Arkansas and visited Lurch in person. She said the rescue he lives at is open to the public. Many other animals live there as well and my neighbor said the animals are very well cared for. It is true that poor Lurch has cancer in one of his horns and the cancer is spreading. I believe my neighbor also said the horns are still growing. This animal rescue operates on donations, so to all you non-believers, go visit Lurch in person and make sure to donate generously.
the very last picture has a shadow of the horns, it’s the only picture where the sun is set right and his shadow doesnt extend past the frame.

For all you non believers out there, i am jans next door nieghbor. I must admitt, the local newspaper photos did not do lurch justice. To see him for my first time left me stunned, as this bulls horns are huge.Its something you have to see in person to fully grasp it.
Lurch really does have cancer, however, he is recovering well and has gained 150 lbs since jan began feeding him a special diet. Jan works VERY hard with all her animals, horses, water buffalo, zebra, sheep, goats, deer, and many others.So for all you photoshop people, come see lurch, then retract your ignorance.

this is real. it is not photoshopped! Lurch was so cool. i seen him this summer. that ladies place is awesome. there were even deer there that gave me a kiss. what she does is awesome!
kind of cruel to leave them horns on that animal like that, id like to see the owner of this bull put an extra 200 pounds on the back of their head and see how long they can live with it! No doubt the bullès horns are amazing, but have some god damn respect for the animal, take some pictures then cut em off!!
