To say Chuando Tan looks young for his age would be a serious understatement. After all, the man did not earn nicknames like “the Asian vampire”, “the man who never ages,” or “Singapore’s hottest uncle,” for nothing. For the past decade, he has been THE poster figure for “ageing well” culture, and you can clearly see why.

Tan shot to international stardom ocurred in 2017, when photos of the then-50-year-old photographer and model went viral on social media, shocking people. The man had the face and body most 20-year-olds would have killed for; it was like time didn’t pass for him. He became an icon, gained a whopping 1 million followers on Instagram alone, and inspired millions around the world.

Chuando Tan recently turned 60, and, as you can see, he is still looking decades younger than most 60-year-olds. He claims he doesn’t use cosmetics and plastic surgery to maintain his youth, and credits diet and exercise as the main factors that keep him looking young.

“Today, on my 60th birthday, I am reminded that time is the only real wealth. Each sunrise arrives as an inheritance, not a guarantee,” Tan wrote in an Instagram post. “The wiser path now is simple: Return daily to nature and sunlight and align myself with what endures. I wish for peace on earth.”

“60 and looking 35! Truly remarkable,” one person commented on a photo of Chuando Tan holding balloons of the numbers 6 and 0.

“I know he’s a vampire, but I can’t just prove it,” someone else wrote.

Despite his reputation as a real-life ageless man, the Singaporean photographer revealed that he does feel pressure, “because, deep inside, I know I’m not that young. I’m ageing.” Maybe, but it definitely doesn’t show!
