Rick is not a living dead, not yet anyway, but he is trying to make himself look like a zombie and so far he’s doing a great job.
A big fan of horror movies, especially George A. Romero’s Living Dead movies, Rick has become a big fan of zombies and ultimately decided he wanted to become one. As a kid he liked The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon and he wanted to be a turtle and live in the sewers, but, with age, he became more mature and decided to become a zombie instead.
So far he has invested over 4000 Canadian dollars into over 24 hours of tattoos and piercings and says his about halfway to realizing his dream. In the meantime he’s become somewhat of an Internet celebrity due to his unique appearance.

actually…the tattoo-work is really pretty amazing quality. I think its a waste of talent – the anatomical correctness of the bone structure is spot on and the shading technique is great. The artist did a great job.

I don’t understand why so many people have a problem with heavily tattooed people.I think tattoos are an amazing way of expressing yourself.Obviously they are not for everyone.Its freedom of expression,& I think its great that he has the guts to do it.People who complain about it are just affraid of anything a bit different,which is a very narrow-minded way of looking at the world.

I love it when people assume that others don’t consider the limitations in job possibilities when getting heavily tattooed. You are just as likely to not get the job by way of being a socially inept homophobic moronic dick (like tha majority of the posters).
People who do these kinds of things to themselves (myself included) know what the repercussions are, and it will take far more than a series of misspelled posts calling us “fag” and “retard” to dissuade us.

As a tattooist and a very heavily tattooed individual I see this as a HUGE personal mistake. I applaud him for stepping out, but I’ve been down this road to a much lesser degree.
The tattoo decisions that I made when I was younger (18-24), are not the decisions that I would make now (45). While I am not unhappy that I am tattooed I would have made different, maybe better decisions.
I have no head, neck, face, hand tattoos, but thats only because of a pretty wise mentor that talked me out of getting anything that couldn’t be covered by a suit/shirt.
I suffered an injury a few years back that took the fine motor skills away from my right hand and changed things for me.
I’m now in the computer/tech field and I end up dealing with people that could never handle the zombie look.
I’m not knocking he or anyone else for stepping outside of the norm, but as a former tattooist (in very busy shops), I saw hundreds if not thousands of poor decisions and covered just as many.
This guys going to regret his “statement”, for sure!
