Used tire art

Some people can any type of junk and make something beautiful out of it.

Such is the case here, where some artists had the brilliant idea of using used car tires to create wonderful works of art. I’m really impressed with that black armor, but the others don’t look half bad either. This should be a lesson to all of us, just because something looks used doesn’t make it useless.

Fabulous! Very creative and talented. ‘Could be good for kids to safely play on and I’d rather see tires like that than in a landfill. Good looking art.

Bravo!! Great to see re-sue of common waste of our consumerism transformed into art. When I was your age… you had to go to a thing called Burning Man to see this kind of art.

OMG I am so inspired! Fantastic use of tires. We are going to have an art-tire sculpture contest here now! Mermaid’s Mug, In Nanaimo BC, over the summer months I think! Friggin awesome!

Yeah! what inspiration! I love when an artist takes something we think we know about, turns it around and lets us see it an a totally different way. Hurray! Long live art.
