Well mainly because most of us are ignorant apes that only think of themselves…How dumb and cruel do you have to be to abuse a poor stingray that way? And look at the girls loving every minute of it, taking pictures with the “monkey” as if they’re at the circus. Why doesn’t it sting one of them, see if they keep smiling like idiots?

These are someone’s photographs from Stingray City, at the Grand Cayman Island, where for a fee you are taken by boat to shallow water to feed and play with the rays.
DONT US BAD WORDS
God people. Don’t you know. Those stingrays don’t sting! They don’t even have a stinger. They just go around and get free food. If they get scared they swim away. This all at Sting Ray City Grand Camon island.
I was in the Caymans in May and we went out to Stingray City with a private group, only my family and the divemaster who is a stingray expert. We sat in 13 feet of water with SCUBA gear on and the rays came right up to us. they hung around and pestered us for food the entire time we were there. It was AMAZING. It doesn’t look like as much fun with 200 other people there. We didn’t pull them out of the water or anything. they do have a spike that they can use for self defense, but the animals at this location have been coming around for a long time (25-30 years) and are quite used to humans. It was truly an awe inspiring experience to see them in the wild.
