By slowly scrolling down from the first photo to the last one, you’ll realize the true power of make-up in the right hands.
This is why I never hit on women wearing too much make-up, you never know who you’re going to wake up in the morning. I’m not saying the girl in the first photo is ugly, but compared to how she looks covered with all that make up…Let’s just say there’s a chance you’ll be disappointed when you see “the real her” for the first time.
Bottom line: Make-up is powerful stuff!

she needs to pluck them eyebrows >< Anyways i think some effort was made to exaggerate the difference between the before and after pictures… notice the unflattering angle and lighting of the before picture. If the girl, pre-made-up, was made to pose with the same pose, hair, angle and lighting as the before photo, i dont think there would be such a pronounced difference.

The make-up isn’t enough for advertisements, movies, & magazines. They go a step further with Photoshop. Hence today’s unrealistic beauty standards.

FULL BODY MAKEUP!!! regardless of proximity or lighting…the makeup makes the girl…and yes photoshop would STILL be needed to finish the job, and a much better cam. The biggest differences are after the 1st part that she puts that stuff to cover the acne (pic 5), them the finnish hit is when she puts that black stuff around the eyes and smile (pic 14). She havs a very very cute smile and a bealtifull hair, if she had took a pic before it all smiling and showing his hair would be a cood comparison.

The opening preface to this set of pictures is so shallow. Using the term ‘dissapointed’ is harsh and ignorant. People pin so much on how a girl looks. Standards are set so impossibly high. That girl wouldn’t feel like she had to put on that much makeup if the media hadn’t convinced her of it. She is very pretty to begin with.

Makeup only does so much; Kate Beckinsale with no makeup will always look better than Paris Hilton done by a professional makeup artist for Vogue.
