Tough Guy is a traditional English challenge, in which the participants have to use every ounce of their energy just to get to the finish line. to give you an idea of how tough this event is, the promoters say that the US S.E.A.L.S. “Grinder” Assault Course is the only thing that barely comes close in terms of difficulty.

Ye i been to 1 of those. I never done it but its proper brutal
lol. looks like the ultimate ranger’s comp. for US Army Rangers, 2 days after ranger school to see who the best of the best ranger team is.
ok kids . . . it’s ok to admire. but to put these guys on a pedestal is inappropriate. anyone can train to do any of those things. and really, those pictures barely showed them doing anything. they were muddy and wet, yeah . . . but nothing crazy.
i know there’s a lot more on the main site, but seriously. it’s just endurance. it’s about 20% physical. the rest is your mentality.
i’m one of the guys that eats that kind of stuff for breakfast. i’m 6′0″, 160#. certainly not huge, somewhat smaller than medium build

These are such great photos. It looks like glib has been perfected in some of these comments, so I’ll stick to complimentary. Can’t wait to do this in January.
