A Russian woman has left her husband after she recognized the view from her bedroom window in a photo on another woman’s Instagram account and realized that he was cheating on her. Yulia Agranovych, a former model turned pediatric dentist, from St. Petersburg, was browsing through her Instagram feed one morning, when she noticed a familiar sight in a photo posted by a certain Vlada Abramovich. It was the same view she admired daily from her bedroom window, so she continued looking through other woman’s gallery and discovered several images of her husband, Nazar Grynko. Yulia decided to confront him about the photos.

“I wasn’t searching for anything, it was a normal morning,” Yulia told Russian news network Ren-TV. “Like any other person in the 21st century I began my day browsing through my Instagram timeline, and suddenly I saw this photograph. It turned out that this woman and I have a large number of the same subscribers. Having visited her account, I found many other interesting photographs, including those of my husband.” After leaving leaving the comment “beautiful view from my husband’s bedroom” on the Instagram photo, Yulia decided to confront her husband about it, but he denied the accusations of adultery, claiming instead that he had invited friends to the apartment for drinks while she was away. Vlada, who he claimed was the girlfriend of a friend, had taken the photo on that occasion. That seemed a bit fishy to Yulia as “when the guests came, they would have headed to the kitchen to drink tea – not to the bedroom.” Turns out she was right.

Vlada, the woman who posted the revealing photo, set her Instagram account to ‘private’ after being confronted by Yulia about it, but then went on to other social media platforms to brag about the affair. When asked whether she had any issues sleeping with a married man, Vlada was unapologetic, and responded, “She is his wife, not mine, what’s the problem? Is he just a vegetable without free will? Don’t make me laugh.” Vlada said that her critics “were living in the 18th century” and said, “If I want to have sex, I’ll have it.” In light of his mistress’ revelations, Nazar finally admitted to Yulia that he had been unfaithful on more than one occasion, and with several women. Yulia claims he told her that “he was never mentally unfaithful to me – and told every girl he was married. I loved this phrase about being mentally faithful.”

Yulia’s research led her to several more of the women with whom Nazar had been cheating on her with. “The other girls were much more pleasant, one even crying on the phone to me, saying she had no idea he was married. So he was successful in his sorcery,” Yulia said. Yulia told reporters that after going public with her story, she received messages from other women in similar situations who praised her courage and said that they felt inspired to confront their own cheating partners.

“Many women supported me, posting that they were proud of my bravery, that I openly discussed it with irony and sarcasm, so now they are ready to get rid of their unfaithful men too,” Yulia said, adding that she will be divorcing her husband. “I hope to do it quickly… such people never change. If he finds a woman who is ready to be with him, and to accept it, let them be happy together. I’m so glad I got to know about it now and not when I became pregnant, for example, because we were planning to have a family. Or when I was 40 and we have three kids,” the scorned wife told Ren-TV
