They may be young and short but kids often turn out to be a lot braver than most gown-ups. I mean how many of you would be willing to ride a Komodo dragon, or take a bath with a full grown python? I know I wouldn’t, so my hat is off to these little daredevils!

For those of you that don’t know anything about Andre, he was the star of a 90’s children’s flick about an adorable little seal that gets adopted by a young girl and spends some time as her pet. As much as I loved seeing Andre acting goofy on screen, I have to wonder if a house is really the best place to raise a seal. Apparently this woman seems to think so.

How many bananas does it take to make a work of art? According to graphic designer, Stefan Sagmeister, the answer is 7200. He has a wall of 7200 stacked bananas on display in New York City, at 76 Grand Street, along with many other of his masterpieces, but if you are considering going to see it live, I suggest you hurry, I don’t even want to imagine what it’s going to smell like on February 23rd, when the exhibition closes, those bananas look a little too ripe. I have to say I’m not a big fan of exotic foods, but I’m sure I’d at least try some of them if I didn’t know what they were. But to take a whole bat and dump it in a pot of soup, then dump it in my plate…now that’s just disgusting. Apparently in the islands of Palau this is a delicacy and some tourists, like the lady in the photo, actually have the guts to try it.

A band of young Ukrainian students found an unusual way to commemorate the death of one of their countries most brilliant surgeons, a doctor Pirogov, who apparently, revolutionized national medicine. They organized a funeral commemorative dinner in one of Kiev’s subway trains inviting everyone to commemorate the carrier and accomplishments of their hero.

As you can see from these photos, the food was pretty scarce but vodka and carton-box wine were abundant. Now that’s good eating!

Rush hours are the most stressful.
