75-Year-Old Woman Marries Son-in-Law After Her Daughter Kicks Him Out

A bizarre love triangle between a 75-year-old woman, her 52-year-old ex-son-in-law and her 56-year-old daughter has sparked controversy in Russia after their story went viral this month.

Galina Zhukovskaya, 75, from St. Petersburg, Russia, married Vyacheslav Zhukovsky, a man 23 years her junior back in 2010, but it wasn’t the age difference between them that made their union controversial in the eyes of the world. The problem was that Vyacheslav had been Galina’s son-in-law after being married to her daughter, Elena, for three years. The couple broke up shortly after his realese from prison, allegedly due to Elena’s infidelity. Vyacheslav, found refuge with his mother-in-law, and the two tied the knot in 2010. They’ve been together ever since, but Galina claims that her daughter has always been envious of their relationship and has been trying to break them up.

“My daughter is probably jealous that mom is not alone. I have someone to talk to and she doesn’t,” Galina Zhukovskaya told Russian tabloid Komsomolskaya Pravda. “She wants us to separate. She often sends her 30-year-old daughter, born from another man, to seduce him”.

Vyacheslav met his ex-wife, Elena, while serving timein a Murmansk prison for killing his former employer over unpaid wages. From behind bars, he posted a dating ad in a local newspaper and Elena, who was visiting a friend in Murmansk at the time, responded. The two hit it off, and in 2007 they tied the knot in the very prison Vyacheslav was held. Three years later, he was released and he moved into her home in St. Petersburg. Only their marriage quickly fell apart.

Galina claims that her daughter cheated on her husband shortly after his release and eventually kicked him out of the house. With no place to go, Vyacheslav was condemned to homelessness, but his mother-in-law took pity on him and took him into her home. She admits that she didn’t do it out of love, she was just sorry for him, but as time passed, they drew closer.

For years, Galina had to put up with the judgement of her relatives for taking her daughter’s ex-husband, but she and Vyacheslav pulled through the storm and now have a very stable relationship based on love and respect. Two years ago, they planned to have a baby together, and even managed to find a surrogate mother, but they were decived. The woman took their one million rubles payment, got pregnant, but the DNA test showed that the baby was not Galina’s and Vyacheslav’s. At least that’s what the couple claim…

The 52-year-old man admits that he once made the mistake to look for another woman, but Galina forgave him, blaming his attempt on his playful nature, his habit of flirting with other women but never going any further. She did tell him that if he wanted someone else he should just leave, but he decided that he was better off with her.

Do you know what I like about Galina? I’m sure she won’t cheat on me, I’m tired of cheating,” the man said.

The 75-year-old pensioner claims that her daughter has constantly been trying to break them up, even sending her 30-year-old daughter to seduce her husband. She is convinced that she is envious on their relationship, but adds that her apartment is also at stake. As her husband, Vyacheslav stands to inherit her home if she passes away, something that her family cannot accept.

The strange love triangle went viral on Russian social media earlier this month, but the protagonists of the story have been known to the Russian general public after getting invited on a popular TV show to tell their version of events and work out their differences in public. a couple of years back.
