Turn Your Wedding into a Fairytale with These Disney Princess Wedding Dresses

Every bride wants to feel like a princess on her big day, and thanks to these gorgeous Disney Princess-inspired wedding dresses, you can even look like one too.

Japanese wedding company Kuraudia Co. recently partnered with Disney to make the Dream of many Japanese brides-to-be a reality – becoming a Disney princess for a day. They have created a collection of colorful wedding gowns inspired by six of the most popular Disney princesses, from Snow White to Cinderella. The Kyoto-based company will start taking orders from hotels, wedding halls and dress shops all across Japan in November, and will also be offering matching Prince Charming tuxedos, for an even more convincing fairytale effect.

Kuraudia has announced that its Disney princess wedding dress collection will consist of 14 different models based on the iconic gowns worn by six of the most popular Disney princesses – Belle from “Beauty and the Beast,” Ariel from “The Little Mermaid,” “Snow White,” Rapunzel from “Tangled,” Aurora from “Sleeping Beauty” and “Cinderella”.

Now for the bad news. First of all, the dresses will become available on November 1st, but only in Japan, and Disney has yet to announce plans for this sort of collaboration with dress makers worldwide. So if you’ve always dreamed of getting married as your favorite Disney princess, you’ll have to do it in Japan.

But what if you order a dress and just pay for the international shipping, right? After all, you can’t put a price on happiness. That may be true, but the thing is that Kuraudia isn’t planning on selling its gorgeous Disney wedding dresses to anyone. Apparently, renting them out to businesses and wealthy couples is much more profitable, especially if you charge more for a rental than the cost of buying a classic wedding dress.

Are you sitting down? If not, please do. Renting a Disney-licensed princess wedding dress for your big day will cost a whopping 400,000 yen ($3,600), with the Prince Charming tux adding an extra 100,000 yen ($900) to the overall cost of the event. You’ll have to return both, obviously.

There’s no denying that these Disney princess wedding dresses are positively stunning, but them rental costs… Ouch!
