Everyone meet Dakota (at least I think that’s her real name), she’s a 16-year-old girl who goes by KotaKoti and looks a lot like a Barbie doll. Recently, photos of her have gone viral on several Asia and Arabic social sites because of her incredible resemblance to Barbie.
I stumbled upon some photos of KotaKoti while browsing a popular Vietnamese site for weird stories (yes, I do actually visit a lot Vietnamese sites, where else do you think I find all this crazy stuff) and was stunned by the resemblance between this girl and the popular Barbie doll. I mean, in some photos Iwas having trouble figuring out if she is actually a real person or just a life-size toy. I wasn’t able to find a lot of info on her, as she doesn’t seem to be as popular on western websites, and although she has her very own blog, it doesn’t have an “About” page or anything like that.
KotaKoti incredible resemblance to Barbie has made her very popular in countries like Japan and China, where she has been featured on several news stations. Considered a cosplayer by a lot of her fans, the 16-year-old says she dresses like this pretty much all the time and she doesn’t mind it when people look at her funny. I seriously think she should move to Japan, I bet they would worship he there.

Thanks kdb, I had no idea about her sister. I have spent all morning researching the story and the stupid frack, Christopher Stone (who is worse, IMO). You would think after what happened to kotakoti sister, her parents would be a little more protective of it ever happening again, let alone with yet ANOTHER daughter.
I just hope kotakoti doesn’t share her sister’s racist beliefs.
If you google her enough you’ll find out that shes photoshop her pics a lot, I’ve seen pics of her before and shes is beautiful looking …just not like doll.

She’s photoshopped everything (poorly I might add) except for the bruise on her arm in the last pic. The most obvious example is her *boob job* in the pic with the white sweater/cleavage.
Barbie are you kidding me. She looks nothing like a Barbie doll. Porcelin doll yes with her complexion but her eyes are WAY too big for her face.
She doesn’t look like Barbie, her face is too round. But I cannot deny that she does look like a doll and she is amazingly cute. (It is so wrong for me to say that because I am 22. F*** it, I want to marry this girl.)

liars. one thing you should mention is that she gets a lot of haters because they are angry that she actually DOES looks like that. all of the above people claiming photoshop know that she isn’t photoshopped. they have all seen her Youtube they are just hating. I think she’s terrifying
The reason why she isn’t that famous in the u.s is because everyone knows about her and her sister. If you really do your research you will see that they aren’t as sweet as they portray themselves to be. Dakota has been getting a lot of praise in Korean media (i’m always watching and reading about Korea’s culture) but if everyone only knew their true colors and how mean her and her family is they wouldn’t really be praising her. I hope the truth comes out.

She photoshops her pictures to the point where her face anatomy changes from picture to picture. Also, she never shows her profile in either pictures or videos. That is suspicious.
Also, she is racist and homophobic. She just tried to delete everything that showed her to be so. But you know how deleting EVERYTHING off of the internets goes…
She definitely looks like a doll, but she doesn’t even have a slight resemblance to Barbie. Perhaps there is some other doll on the market that she looks like… but it isn’t Barbie.

she has a really fake demeanour unfortunately she is actually 18 it is actually proven in the article about her sister This article states Dakota was 11 in 2005.So, she must be 17-18 now dunno why she would lie about that i guess asia likes younger idols .0.o she was a homophobic and insulted female fans that complimented her which she apologized for on her blog she used to be a scene idol with her sister but changed her appearance with circle lenses ,extentions, makeup ,and photoshop to try to gain popularity within asia. i think shes a pretty girl without photoshop but shes not doll-like, like everybody says. the eyes have been photoshopped on a lot of those pics, and the cheek bones enhanced and the skin tone evened (altho likely with a cake load of makeup too). No doubt she isn’t pretty, but they forgot to her eyes on the last pic!!

She photoshops ALL of her pictures, she was sorta famous when the “scene” was big and she use to look nothing like that. Her and her family are terribleterrible people down to the core. They lie about literally everything. She got the lying about her age from her sister who would do it a lot too. The people defending her saying how she looks exactly like she does in her videos should research a little more and understand that all of her videos are run through Adobe After Effects which you can see if you look at the properties. Not only that, if they don’t notice that her lips, boobs, face even changes it’s shape; I highly doubt it morphs on its own terms. I used to think she was really cute, but she does actually photoshop A LOT. I remember she posted on her blog that the people who says that she does just edits the photos themselves, but you can see in her beaded hair tutorial video, around 1:29-1:32 her chin literally sinks in completely, which is a total sign of photoshop. I would post it on her video, but she screens all her comments, and wouldn’t let me post it last time.
